These are from the recording sessions of 1994's "Voodoo Lounge," and this pretty much covers all the bases. Disc 1 is a track by track rundown of VL with alternate (and sometimes better) versions of each song. Disc 2 is simply Keith screwing around with his acoustic guitar. His sleepy versions of "Please Please Me" and "Crying Waiting Hoping" are a hoot. Disc 3 are all instrumental tracks, some of which became songs, others that didn't. Disc 4 shows how the songs on VL came into being, from early embryo stages (listen to a piano tapped version on "Out of Tears") to full fledged adults (the 10 minute version of "Thru and Thru"). All are album-quality sound. Great set, one of my favorites.
