Recordings Of Illegitimate Origin (ROIO), commonly known as bootlegs, are unofficial releases of a band's material. Bootlegs are fun, because it lets you hear what a band sounds like live with no studio overdubs and other augmentations. They also collect studio outtakes and other rarities. Over the past few years, I've built a collection of some really great Stones boots, and they are all a lot of fun. I'm setting up a page about each one I own, along with some notes about and reviews of each recording. Check 'em out - I'm always adding new pages, so check back soon! The Rolling Stones
