The Stones began the 80's on a high note with the commercially successful "Tattoo You." Most of the songs were not new, coming from demos and recording sessions in the early and mid-seventies, but it's good that they raided the vaults. It spawned the classics "Start Me Up" and "Waiting on a Friend" and included other rock pleasers like "Neighbours," the bluesy "Black Limousine" and Keith's "Little T&A." A strong album when it rocks, but when it slows down, it gets verrrrry boring. It's only about halfway good, but the inclusion of "Start Me Up" makes it worth having.
