"Out of Our Heads" launched the Stones into superstardom. Undeniabley their finest work before 1968's "Beggar's Banquet," "Out of Our Heads" is a great mix of some fine cover tunes and the greatest Jagger/Richards originals. Rock wouldn't be what it is today without the riff from "Satisfaction." "The Last Time," "Play With Fire" and "The Spider and the Fly" are great tunes and illustrate how well Mick and Keith's songwriting was maturing. The cover tunes are exceptional, too, with "Mercy Mercy" and Sam Cooke's "Good Times" standing out. This is another one that belongs in any Stones fan's collection.
